What to expect

Shoes

Correct Irish dance soft and hard shoes are recommended. However for beginner levels these shoes are not compulsory and you are not pressured into buying them.

If you do not wish to buy these shoes, jazz shoes, ballet pomps, tap shoes or any shoes that are not bulky will work. Sneakers are not recommended as they can be quite bulky. Students are not permitted to wear socks only as they do not provide enough support for this kind of dance.

Adults

Adults should wear something that they are comfortable in and can move easily in. Jeans are not recommended. Sweatpants or shorts and t-shirt are ideal.

Children and teens

Children and teens should wear black shorts / skirts , any color t-shirt and white poodle socks. Beginners are not required to wear poodle socks, any white socks will work.

Water

All students are advised to bring a bottle of water and towel with them to class. Trust me, you will need it!!
